Caroline Buchanan first launched her female mentorship program in 2014 with the dream to be the bike role model she wished she had growing up. Since then, her program has evolved and in 2021 IGN!TE was born! Caroline has proudly supported 16 girls with personal mentoring plus over $100,000 in raised funds, helping them achieve their goals and compete in BMX, Mountain Bike and Motocross.

IGN!TE scholarships have previously proudly been supported by Australian company Rubik3.

To apply, simply complete the application below and submit a video of you in action on two wheels. I’d also love to check out your social media accounts and understand what support you need to get to where you want to be.
Scholarship Examples: assistance getting to an event, training equipment like an airbag to work on your skills, strength and conditioning, a coach, want to complete a world's first, achieve a specific project or goal, need a home training gate start, backyard pump track/dirt jumps or media and marketing training.
(*Important: When submitting your application please ensure you’re specific and detailed about your project or gap in your sport that needs IGN!TING! The submission also requires a defined goal, timeline and steps required.)

$4,000 project cash + $1,000 content budget = $5,000 scholarship

Complete the supported IGN!TE project
Check in with Caroline Buchanan on a Zoom mentoring support call
Wear / promote the supporting scholarship sponsors logo where applicable for the duration of the 4 month scholarship, filming and media
Be available for sponsor / media interviews
$1,000 content budget: girls must provide Ign!te with a high quality video from a professional videographer in landscape format for ongoing marketing, media interviews and press releases
